H&W at Home for the Holidays

The month of December is a fan favorite for Hill & Wilkinson employees. With a plethora of holiday happenings throughout the month, H&W likes to welcome the season in style! It’s a crucial part of our culture and we look forward to it every year.

The season kicked off with a holiday hit for the whole family, Cookies with Santa! H&W kiddos from both our Central Texas and Richardson offices got to enjoy cookie decorating, Christmas movies, and of course, getting a present off their wish list from the big man himself: Santa!

Last year was the first time we hosted this event. We anticipated about 50 kids participating, but to our surprise over 100 kids showed up! This year the number increased to over 125 kids at both our headquarters and Central Texas office.

After the kids had their celebration, H&W employees got to have their holiday fun. Both offices hosted a holiday party, complete with delicious food, employee raffle prizes, caricature artists, a magician, and more. The Central Texas Office celebrated with a Christmas Movie Holiday Party, where attendees dressed up as characters from their favorite Christmas movies. The Richardson Office kept things southern with a Country Christmas theme, where cowboy hats and boots were strongly encouraged!

But in the season of festivities, we also believe it’s important to give back to the community. For the past several years, we‘ve had the privilege of volunteering at the annual Community Partners of Dallas Toy Drive. This toy drive allows kids in CPS to receive two items off their Christmas list and ensures they also get to experience the holiday magic. We had the pleasure of not only providing donations but also sorting and wrapping gifts at the warehouse.
