A New Home for Health: H&W Builds New Medical Center for Hunt Regional

May 2, 2025

We’re excited to announce the completion of our latest healthcare project: a cutting-edge medical facility for Hunt Regional Medical Center in Royse City.

Strategically located just off I-30 and thoughtfully designed by our partners at Page this two-story, 70,000 sf medical center features a wide range of services including primary and specialty care clinics, an imaging suite, major treatment and patient rooms, a full-service pharmacy, helicopter pad, food prep kitchen, and shell space for a future remote data center.

We’re honored to help bring this impactful project to life for the Royse City community. It was a true collaboration between Hunt Regional, the design and project teams, our trusted trade partners, and H&W. Reflecting on the experience, Travis Potter, VP of Business Development at Hunt Regional, shared, “Our vision for Hunt Regional Medical Center Royse City was to create a facility that meets the current needs of the community, is designed with future growth in mind, and becomes a source of pride for local residents. We believe this project has accomplished all of those goals—and our partnership with Hill & Wilkinson has been a major reason why.”

“From day one, and at every level of their organization, the Hill & Wilkinson team has been as deeply invested in the success of this project as we have. They have felt like an extension of the Hunt Regional team, not just a third-party contractor. Given the strategic importance of this facility to both our present and future, choosing the right construction partner was a critical decision. We couldn’t be more pleased with our selection of Hill & Wilkinson and the exceptional outcome they helped deliver. The final product has exceeded even our highest expectations.”

This milestone marks our largest healthcare project in the past decade and strengthens our relationships in the Royse City area. It also adds to our growing portfolio of healthcare work for leading institutions such as Baylor Scott & White, Children’s Health, Cook Children’s, Reliant, and Medical City Dallas.
