There’s no better way to usher in holiday cheer than by embracing the spirit of giving through supporting local community initiatives and helping those in need. This year we were honored to partner with several local charities and organizations to make a positive impact.
One of our most anticipated opportunities to give back is through our participation in the CPD Toy Drive which benefits the Community Partners of Dallas. Hill & Wilkinson employees are invited to choose a wish card, then shop for the requested gift. Afterwards we get to volunteer at the warehouse, sorting brand new toys and helping distribute them to the social workers, who deliver them to the abused and neglected children they serve. We also had the privilege of donating toys to Vogel Alcove, who we recently completed a children’s daycare center for. Their mission is to help young children and their families prevent and overcome the effects of homelessness and poverty, perfectly aligning with our core value of supporting causes that do good. A new and exciting way we got to pay it forward this year was by donating the bikes our LEAD class assembled during a team building exercise to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas!
Whether it’s serving a meal to the families of critically ill children at Ronald McDonald House or donating labor and supplies to erect a flagpole for the headquarters of The American Fallen Soldiers Project, we actively look for ways to use our resources in furthering meaningful causes. We focus on a variety of organizations that have impacted the lives of our employees, support our industry, and fit our company’s wellness goals.

Our employees are a big part of these efforts, volunteering their time and resources to support local events. Whether it’s distributing gifts to children or helping out at food pantries, we’re grateful for the collective efforts of our team to ensure that families have the support they need during this season of giving.
Through our holiday initiatives, we hope to foster an even stronger sense of unity and care within Dallas. As Hill & Wilkinson continues to grow and complete new projects, we remain committed to finding new ways to engage in philanthropic efforts and help those in need, not just during the holidays, but throughout the entire year.
