Southwest Airlines Tech Ops Shops Facility

This project is a 44,600 sf engine maintenance, slide, and structure shop. The shop was constructed to consolidate maintenance activities with the Dallas MX Hangar facility.

The first phase consisted of the 18,700 sf engine shop, bathrooms, offices, and a breakroom. The second phase was the 7,800 sf slide shop and the kiln room. The third and final phase was the 8,500 sf structure support shop, clean room with paint and sanding booths, coffee maker shop, and the plant mx addition. The facility serves as a primary resource for the SWA maintenance technicians to test aircraft equipment to ensure safety for all.
