Greg was born in Dallas, Texas in 1946. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and completed graduate programs in business at Penn State University and Southern Methodist University. He has been a registered professional engineer in Texas since 1972.
He began his career at Daniel where he was appointed Division Manager-Operations of the Dallas Division in 1980 and he was promoted to Vice President of Daniel Construction in 1982.
In 1985, Greg partnered with Fritz McKinstry to purchase Luther Hill & Associates and created Hill & Wilkinson. Under Greg’s leadership and marketing skills, the company grew steadily and expanded into new markets such as manufacturing and healthcare.
Greg had a passion for creating opportunities for others and encouraging their development. He was genuinely interested in teaching others to improve their health and overall wellness and frequently shared educational tips. These initiatives continue on today and are reflected in the Hill & Wilkinson Values.
Greg retired to Highlands, North Carolina in 2019 with his wife Peggy.
Greg is an avid fisherman in either saltwater or fresh. His wife likes to say that he would fish in a gutter if it had water in it.
A lifelong believer in nutrition and exercise, Greg competed in a body-building competition at the age of 48.
