Wellness and maintaining a work-life balance is an important part of our unique culture. The Dallas Business Journal has recognized our commitment to wellness by naming us the #1 Healthiest Place to Work for medium-sized companies for three consecutive years. Our “Wellness at Work” program is designed to keep participants interested and engaged on a long-term basis. Our philosophy is to address our employee’s overall well-being professionally, socially, physically, financially, and mentally to help them live the best life possible.
“We work hard to keep our wellness program fresh and engaging and to offer employees the knowledge and resources to live their best healthy life.”
To maintain a variety of healthy lifestyle options, we offer classes that range from boot camp to yoga, all with professional trainers on-site in our fitness center. Some of the staples of our wellness program include a yearly health survey, on-site health screening, and year-long wellness goal tracking through our online wellness program administrator, Virgin Pulse. Many of our community service events are also wellness activities that earn points toward an insurance rebate at the end of each year. We host a variety of fitness and healthy lifestyle-related challenges, sponsor team participation in local runs and events, offer tobacco cessation programs, and host an annual on-site health & wellness fair. All company-sponsored luncheons offer at least one healthy meal option, and quarterly wellness lunches showcase healthy foods along with tackling health-related topics such as allergies, anti-inflammatory diets, and nutrition. Additionally, all employees have access to a healthcare concierge that conveniently helps locate health providers as well as Teledoc, another convenient service that provides treatment by phone with reputable doctors for common medical conditions.
