This project is a 50,000 sf, fast-track project that converted an existing facility at DFW Airport into a full-service, eight-bay flight simulator. This required a complete demolition of all existing interior walls as well as new slabs for simulator pads. The facility included classrooms, debrief rooms, conference rooms, and support staff offices. The scope also included the relocation of existing AOA fencing for new parking areas as well as the addition of mechanical rooms for hydraulic pumps, air cooled chillers for HVAC and cockpit air, simulator computer rooms, and CRAC systems. The project was completed in four months and was delivered on schedule and in budget.
